Maurane Voyer, born in Fort-de-France, Martinique, is a Caribbean singer-songwriter celebrated for her interesting mix of zouk, dancehall, and R&B. Daughter of Taxi Kréol members Gilles Voyer and Danielle René-Corail, she began as a backing vocalist before debuting with singles like “Haïti pa pléré” and “Mizik.” Her 2017 EP '#RVDmau' set the stage for her 2020 album 'Bazar,' followed by the 2022 release 'BBW,' which included standout tracks like “Zaboka” and “Kole kole.” An expanded edition added “Viré fey,” charting at number 17 in Outre-Mer.
