Donboydml, born Barika David Kale, is a Nigerian Afrocentric singer and songwriter from Gokana Local Government Area, Rivers State. Based in Port Harcourt, his music reflects ambition, expression, and reality.
One of his earliest musical memories comes from his school days, when he performed his first song publicly, titled “Sinner.” That experience marked his first step into music. His sound blends Afrobeats with hip hop and contemporary influences, shaped by lyrics that explore struggle, hustle, and self-awareness.
Releases like "Timeless" by Davido, "Ikigai Vol. 1" by Olamide, and "HEIS" by Rema are his all-time favorite albums, simply because, for him, good music always wins. Among his releases, “Lose Me” stands out as his best work, a song he still questions and feels deeply connected to.
Releasing music under his imprint, DMLMUSIC, Donboydml is building a catalog including some of his releases like "First Son," "Life Jacket," and "Duo Dimension."
