After his 2018 debut project, Mayorkun returned in 2021 with "Back in Office." Much of it was shaped during the COVID-19 lockdown, when he paused frequent releases to rethink his direction. The album reflects growth, mixing introspective tracks like “Soldier Boy” and “Piece of Mind” with upbeat, celebratory tunes.
