This local fame was cemented during his tenure with Leone Island under the tutelage of the celebrated Jose Chameleone. His breakaway success came with tracks such as "Ekikompola" and "Muliro Muliro," earning him a firm place within the heart of Ugandan music lovers. However, post-2009, after a solo venture with Spear Dem Crew, he faced personal battles, particularly with alcohol—which significantly impacted his career. By the mid-2010s, Sifaayo rekindled his faith, leaning into gospel music while retaining his dancehall roots. His return was marked by spiritually infused hits like "Wakyuusa," illustrating his personal growth journey.
