As a skilled guitarist, drummer, and bassist, his debut album, 'Some Sort of Sungura,' released in December 2020, showcases his admiration for the genre by playing each instrument himself. Blending sungura with genres like morna, chimurenga, afrobeat, and qgom, Eriki connects his Norwegian roots with the dynamic rhythms and interwoven guitar lines of Zimbabwe. His work has traversed borders, with professional engagements in Zimbabwe, Malawi, Senegal, Namibia, and South Africa.
