Pamela Hasan is the author of Poetic Lessons, a collection of poetry about love, loss, grief, and empowerment. She writes poetry using the pen name Poetic Hummingbird. Through poetry, Poetic Hummingbird uses melodic melodies and rhythmic rhymes to invoke conversations that are often difficult to approach. She is known for writing/reciting poetry for collegiate programs centered around diversity, equity, and inclusion. She poetically weaves words together to encourage her readers to pause and reflect on their individual experiences with love, grief, self-worth, and pain. She empowers her readers to have a grateful heart and an optimistic spirit and to love and live unapologetically, without hesitation or reservation. Poetic Lessons is available on Amazon. To order a signed copy of Poetic Lessons, visit https://poetichummingbirdpoetry.com/. A portion of the proceeds from Poetic Lessons is donated to Widows Closets Grieve Believe Achieve Rebuild Program, which provides financial assistance to help widows/widowers acquire the basic necessities for survival.
