Thursday the 5th of June 1975, hairdresser William ‘Tommy’ Walker headed into Birmingham to buy supplies, he went to a few bars, and the nest day, his body was found 6 miles from his home, in a lover’s lane having been beaten to death and robbed. The police convicted two men of his murder, but how safe was this conviction?
