On this episode of the “Behind the Bar” series on the podcast we interview Edem Keith & Kofi Adjei Maafo founders of BLOOMBAR ! These two fine gentlemen launched BLOOMBAR back in 2017 and have been on a mission to grow the business year on year. Bloom bar as most of us know it has been one of the most preferred nightlife destinations in Ghana’s capital, Accra. The bar is known for for its ambience, carefully curated cocktails , expert mixologists and an all round vibe ! As of Today, Bloombar is one of the most respected bars both on the continent and globally and is one of the most preferred locations for travelers who come into the country for tourism all year round. The bar was recently listed on the Top 50 bars globally in 2021 and was listed on uber travel trends with over 100,000 visitors 2021 Starting a brand with very little experience in this industry and with zero or little investment dollars is tough but they said they’ve enjoyed the journey every step of the way We discuss many topics from building a brand with a story , their learnings , major frustrations , their thoughts on the ever evolving nightlife industry and etc
