Journey
Born Prince Owusu on December 12, 1999, is a Ghanaian singer-songwriter who has rapidly ascended as a leading voice in the Afro-fusion scene. His musical foundation, built in the church where he mastered the drums and trombone and eventually led the choir, stems from his origins in Worawora in the Oti Region. Despite early aspirations of becoming a professional footballer, a path cut short by persistent health challenges, Raevin’s natural inclination for melody led him to the recording studio, where his first spontaneous recordings garnered immediate local attention.
His professional breakthrough arrived in 2025 when he signed with Legacy Life Entertainment, the prestigious label founded by legendary producer Killbeatz. This partnership, bolstered by global distribution through Sony Music and Crux Global, positioned him as the label’s next flagship artist following the success of King Promise. Before his solo debut, Raevin’s vocal prowess was already being felt behind the scenes; he notably contributed backing vocals to King Promise’s global hit "Terminator".
Raevin’s debut EP, “Feelings Of Raevin,,” released in August 2025, serves as a definitive showcase of his "Afro-fusion" sound, a seamless blend of Afrobeats, Afropop, and traditional Highlife. The project features standout tracks like "Fire" and the remix of "Fever" featuring Kelvyn Boy. Emotional authenticity characterizes his music, often exploring themes of vulnerability and personal growth through a mix of English, Pidgin, and Twi. In late 2025, a streaming platform cemented his rising influence by naming him an "Up Next Ghana" artist, spotlighting him as a pivotal figure in the new generation of African talent.
